Episode Overview
The episode focuses entirely on the final match of the Demon World Tournament's preliminary block: a direct clash between the Demon King Yomi and his artificially created son, Shura.
The Fight: Shura attacks with extreme speed, using his Ma En Kou (Biting Demon Circles) technique. Yomi easily blocks the assault and counters using his Han Shou Heki (Distilling Destruction Opposing Force Wall) to absorb Shura's projectiles.
The Lesson: Though Shura attempts tricky combat strategies—like utilizing a massive explosion to target Yomi's highly sensitive ears—the gap in their power levels is overwhelming. Yomi uses the match as a stern, violent fatherly lesson to teach Shura about the realities of war and the true meaning of defeat.
The Resolution: Realizing he is completely outmatched and that his father has been holding back heavily, Shura eventually concedes the match. Yomi advances to the main tournament grid.Comic
Relief: In the stands, Yusuke is visited by Koenma (hilariously disguised as Tuxedo Mask from Sailor Moon), Botan, and Jorge Saotome, who have snuck into the Demon World to spectate.
