Episode 92 of the original Sailor Moon anime, titled "A Handsome Boy? Haruka Tenoh's Secret" (or "A Beautiful Boy? The Secret of Haruka Tenoh"), is a fan-favorite milestone that officially introduces Haruka Tenou and Michiru Kaiou in their civilian forms. [1, 2, 3]
Episode Overview
- Story Arc: This is the 3rd episode of the Sailor Moon S season (Season 3).
- Key Plot: Usagi and Minako become infatuated with a handsome stranger they meet at the Crown Game Center. They spend the episode competing for the "boy's" attention, only to eventually discover that Haruka is actually a girl who prefers dressing in masculine clothing.
- The Reveal: While the episode focuses on the comedy of the girls' crushes, it also marks the first time Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune show their full transformation backgrounds and attack sequences (World Shaking and Deep Submerge).
- Cultural Note: This episode is famous for the line where Haruka corrects the girls by saying, "I don’t recall ever saying that I was a guy.
Generally only 10-30 scripts of each episode exist. These aren't for public sale and occasionally get sneaked out or given at very selected conventions in Japan, I'm keeping 1 for my own collection so get it while you can.
