**Pokemon: Ep #211: Pidgey and Giant Pidgey.

Episode Summary

The story follows Ash, Misty, and Brock as they arrive on Pudgy Pidgey Isle, an island protected by environmental regulations where the local Pidgey have grown unusually large and round due to a lack of predators and an abundance of food. 

• The Dreamer: Unlike the other overweight Pidgey who have lost the desire to fly, a small Pidgey named Orville dreams of soaring higher than any Pokémon has ever gone—straight into the stratosphere.
• The Ascent: Ash and his friends join Orville’s trainer, Wilbur, in a jet-assisted hot air balloon to track Orville’s ambitious flight. As he climbs, Orville faces intense cold and thin air, eventually reaching a height where he can see the curvature of the Earth.
• Meowth’s Connection: In a rare emotional moment, Meowth bonds with Orville, encouraging the Pokémon to chase its dreams because Meowth himself once worked hard to achieve the "impossible" goal of learning to speak.
• The Conclusion: After reaching his goal, Orville begins a dangerous descent. With help from the other "pudgy" Pidgey, who are inspired to fly again to break the balloon's fall, everyone lands safely. Orville becomes a hero on the island, reminding his peers of their natural ability to fly.
