Episode Summary: "Octillery the Outcast"

In this episode, Ash and his friends arrive in a town hosting the preliminary rounds of the Whirl Cup. 

• The Conflict: Ash and Misty encounter a trainer named Marcellus whose Octillery is too depressed to battle effectively.
• The Cause: The Octillery has been shunned by its former Remoraid friends because they no longer recognize it after its evolution.
• The Resolution: Ash and his friends help Marcellus work on "Pokémon sociology" to mend these friendships. However, Team Rocket intervenes, attempting to steal the Remoraid using a specialized vacuum tank. Octillery ultimately saves the group by smashing the tank and freeing the Remoraid, proving its loyalty and reclaiming its place in the group
