Shattered Promise" (Season 5,) of Naruto: Shippuden focuses on the climax of the Three-Tails arc, where Kabuto reveals he manipulated Guren and Yūkimaru, leading to an enraged Naruto fighting Kabuto and the Three-Tails, while Guren tries to keep her promise to protect Yūkimaru, culminating in the beast going berserk and Naruto confronting it to save the boy. The episode features Guren's fight against a reanimated Rinji, Yūkimaru's power surge, and the Leaf ninja's struggle to contain the rampaging Three-Tails.
