Episode 53 of Naruto Shippūden, titled "Title" (題名, Taitoru), is the final episode of the Tenchi Bridge Reconnaissance Mission arc. It originally aired in Japan on May 8, 2008, and in the US on October 27, 2010. [1, 2]
Episode Summary
The episode focuses on the climax and aftermath of Team Kakashi's encounter with Sasuke Uchiha at Orochimaru's hideout: [1]
  • Sasuke's Resolve: Sasuke explains to Naruto that he is willing to give his body to Orochimaru if it means gaining the power necessary to kill his brother, Itachi.
  • The Confrontation: As Sasuke prepares to use a devastating unknown technique to finish off Naruto and the others, Orochimaru intervenes and stops him.
  • Escape: Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Sasuke vanish, leaving Team Kakashi behind. The mission to bring Sasuke back home ends in failure.
  • Return to Konoha: Naruto and Sakura are devastated by the outcome but find a new sense of determination. Back at the village, Sai makes a personal request to Danzo to remain part of Team Kakashi. 

Generally only 10-30 scripts of each episode exist. These aren't for public sale and occasionally get sneaked out or given at very selected conventions in Japan.
