📝 Plot Summary
The episode follows multiple key plotlines across the Earth Sphere:
• Duo's Capture: Duo Maxwell faces off against OZ's new automated Mobile Dolls in space. Because his Gundam Deathscythe is not fully tuned for space combat and is outnumbered, its arm is destroyed, leading to Duo's defeat and capture by OZ forces.
• Heero's Infiltration: Heero Yuy infiltrates the OZ base on a rescue mission. He successfully hacks into the OZ network, manipulating the programming of the Mobile Dolls so they target their own side. He finds Duo, frees him, and they escape together with the timely battlefield assistance of Chang Wufei and his Shenlong Gundam.
• Zechs' Departure: On Earth, Zechs Merquise wakes up aboard Howard’s ship. He is gifted a space-equipped version of the powerful Tallgeese mobile suit, allowing him to launch back into orbit to navigate the rapidly changing political climate.
• Lady Une's Soft Power: Lady Une shifts strategies, utilizing diplomacy and political maneuvering rather than brute force to secure the allegiance of various space colonies for OZ.
• A Grim Resolution: Following the escape, Heero reveals a dark new objective: he plans to travel to the Lunar Base and kill the five Gundam Engineers. Because they designed the Gundams, Heero believes they possess the knowledge required to defeat them, making them a liability to the rebellion.
