During the Kamogawa Gym's summer training camp in the mountains, Takamura goes out for a final late-night roadwork run without a bear-repelling bell. He comes face-to-face with a wild Asian black bear and realizes he cannot escape, forcing him to box the wild animal with his bare hands.
