Guin Saga original production script #3

The Crimson Mercenary" (紅の傭兵, Kurenai no Yōhei) is the third episode of the dark fantasy anime series Guin Saga, which originally aired on April 19, 2009. This episode marks the critical introduction of Istavan, a charming and quick-witted mercenary who becomes a core companion to Guin and the royal twins.

 Plot Summary

The Gladiatorial Arena: Following the events at Stauros, Count Vanon (the Black Count) forces the leopard-headed warrior Guin into an arena to fight a monstrous grey ape for entertainment. Guin defeats the beast with the help of a sympathetic Mongauli soldier named Orro, who throws him a sword.

The Next Challenger: Impressed and amused, Vanon pits Guin against his next captive—the charismatic swordsman Istavan, known as the "Crimson Mercenary". Before their battle can truly begin, Count Vanon experiences a sudden, debilitating phantom pain, forcing him to call off the duel and postpone it until the next day.

Separation and Imprisonment: In an attempt to break the spirits of the royal orphans of Parros, Vanon separates them. Princess Rinda is thrown into a dark cell where she meets and befriends Suni, a captive girl from the monkey-like Sem tribe. Meanwhile, Guin and Prince Remus are locked in a cell directly adjacent to Istavan, who immediately begins scheming an escape.

The Chaos of the Night Raid: During the night, a hostile faction of the Sem tribe launches a fierce surprise raid on the fortress. Amidst the chaos, Istavan successfully breaks free. The young soldier Orro sacrifices his life to unlock Guin and Remus's cell.

The Truth of the Black Count: Guin and Remus navigate the burning castle to track down Rinda. They discover Vanon attempting to sacrifice Suni to consume her blood, desperate to cure his mysterious rotting disease. Guin intervenes and discovers that the Black Count is actually a ghastly wraith. He banishes the entity, destroying the castle's leadership.

The Great Escape: With the fortress consumed by fire, Guin gathers the twins and Suni, leaping out of the burning keep and into the rushing waters of the River Kes below.

These were used by the voice actors in the studio in Japan. These are not copies or look alikes.

Generally only 10-30 scripts of each episode exist. These aren't for public sale and occasionally get sneaked out or given at very selected conventions in Japan, I'm keeping 1 for my own collection so get it while you can.
