  • Dragon Ball Z Episode 152, titled "Say Goodbye, 17" in the English Funimation dub (Japanese: 17号を飲み込んだ… 変身セルは超グルメ, lit. "Swallowed 17... Transforming Cell is a Super Gourmet"), is a major turning point in the Imperfect Cell Saga. It originally aired in Japan on August 12, 1992, and in the United States on October 20, 2000.

🌟 Episode Overview

In this pivotal episode, Android 16 desperately tries to fight off Cell to protect Android 17, but Cell proves too powerful. Ultimately, Cell manages to sneak up on Android 17 and absorbs him, initiating his terrifying transformation into Semi-Perfect Cell.

🔑 Key Events

• The Absorption: Despite the combined efforts of Android 16 and Android 18 to prevent it, Cell successfully absorbs Android 17.

• The Transformation: Cell transforms from his insect-like Imperfect form into his bulkier, much more powerful Semi-Perfect form.

• The Aftermath: With his newfound power, Semi-Perfect Cell easily shrugs off a devastating, direct blast from a furious Android 16, proving just how dangerous he has become.

• The Escape: Android 18 and the injured Android 16 are forced to go into hiding on the islands to keep Cell from absorbing 18 and achieving his Perfect form.

Generally only 10-30 scripts of each episode exist. These aren't for public sale and occasionally get sneaked out or given at very selected conventions in Japan.

 

 

 Any problems that seem particularly severe (such as bends, dents, wavy, sticking to videos or backgrounds, etc.) will be noted in the special notes , but please take a good look at the images to judge the condition before purchase. All Cels/Genga/Douga/Illustrations came from Japan.Please be aware some photography may show reflections from the protective packaging.
